Everyone has been asking when we are going to open, and it now looks like that will be the beginning of August.  The building is not finished... bathrooms, fire sprinklers, doors, windows, etc... We have moved the Gatorade Free Flow contest to August 7th, and will be open by then for sure.  We are hoping that we will have a few days prior to that as well so people can get used to the park before the contest.  Keep an eye on the website, and we will let you know the exact opening date as soon as we know it.

We will be closed on Sunday, July 4th.  You should probably go light some fireworks... maybe cook some food... get in a little skateboarding... and then come and hang out with us on Monday.

Also - the park is pretty much done.  We have a few things for the welder to finish, and then its just getting the city to allow us to let you in.  I guess bathrooms and fire sprinkler systems are important for everyone's safety!  Keep an eye out - we will let you know as soon as we can let you all in!

Come on out to Sixth Avenue Skatepark on June 21st for some Go Skateboarding Day events... Game of S.K.A.T.E., Cookout, High Ollie Challenge.......  And we will also have free griptape and Etnies T's while supplies last.  Spread the word and get out and skate!
